Gone Is Gone névre hallgat az a projekt, amelyben Troy Sanders (Mastodon), Tony Hajjar (At The Drive-In), Troy Van Leeuwen (Queens Of The Stone Age) és Mike Zarin gitáros/billentyűs egyesítette erőit. A projekt alapgondolata Hajjar és Zarin fejéből pattant ki, akik filmelőzetesekhez írtak közösen zenéket, de ezek olyan jól sikerültek, hogy zenekarrá fejlődtek, idén nyáron pedig ki is adtak egy nyolc dalt tartalmazó EP-t. Már az első Gone Is Gone nagylemezre sem kell sokat várni, Echolocation címmel január 6-án jelenik meg, A lemez hangmérnöke Ken Andrews (Beck, A Perfect Circle) volt, a Sentient című tétel pedig már most meghallgatható:
